Direct Care Staff:
General Description:
Direct care staff are responsible for 24/7 resident supervision, implementation of the behavior management system, general daily upkeep of the facility, and transportation of residents. You must treat the residents with respect and dignity. Ensure that you are providing a positive and safe atmosphere for residents using trauma-informed care and genuine relationship building skills. Direct care staff are responsible for observing, describing, and accurately reporting youths’ behavior in log notes and to their case managers. You are responsible for the care of youth, including but not limited to the following: encourage personal hygiene, ensuring that clothes are clean and available, and meal preparation for youth residing in the shelter. You must be able to participate in activities with the youth that include but not limited to the following: playing games, hiking, walks, bike rides, watching tv, and community events.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass an enhanced background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with youth, parents, and professionals within the community and agency

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our non-profit agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, financial skills, and exceptional communication abilities in a fast-paced work environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our agency runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both staff and clients.
Duties
- Be the face of the organization to the public; greet guests and vendors, answer phones, connect people to resources, etc.
- Manage Family Resource Center daily office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
- Oversee administrative tasks including filing, clerical duties, and document management.
- Coordinate schedule management for staff, meetings, group rooms and vehicles.
- Handle vendor management including procurement of office supplies and services.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities. Assist with community outreach events.
- Maintain phone systems and ensure effective communication within the office.
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and managing employee benefits.
- Assist with agency social media presence, website updates and other marketing and outreach functions.
Qualifications
- Business degree preferred or proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and clients.
- Proficiency in schedule management tools and software applications; specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with vendor management processes and event planning is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour depending on level of education and experience.
