Jared was born and raised in Pocatello and currently serves as the District Six Treatment Court Manager for the Idaho Supreme Court, providing administrative oversight and support to 11 treatment courts across the district. His career in human services began in 2008 at BYF as a case manager and substance abuse counselor, later serving as Independent Living Coordinator. In 2016, he expanded his leadership experience as Executive Director of the Sixth Judicial District CASA Program for seven years, advocating for abused and neglected children.
Now in his first year as Board President, Jared’s passion for BYF’s mission stems from his early experiences as an intern at Bannock House and MK Place, where mentorship from two supervisors shaped his lifelong commitment to helping youth and families. He also contributes governance experience through service on several boards and committees, including the Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships and the District Six Juvenile Justice Committee. Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Jared enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and building Legos.
