Vanessa grew up in Northern Utah in the town of Inkom and now serves as Business Operations Manager at Idaho State University. She earned her BS in Health Care Administration at ISU, and after a variety of roles in healthcare, she’s found it meaningful to come full circle and work at the place where her career began.
Foster care and adoption have always been close to Vanessa’s heart, even though she hasn’t worked in that space directly, and that connection draws her to BYF’s mission. She’s excited to keep learning and to bring a meaningful, impactful skill set to the board. Outside of work, Vanessa loves the outdoors — boating, paddleboarding, skiing, golfing, biking, gardening, and camping — and finds that time outside brings her joy and clarity.
