Kim Colman, LPC, AADC

Clinical Director

Kim has been a valued member of the MK Place team since 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health education, with an emphasis in addiction studies, from Idaho State University in 2011, followed by a master’s degree in marriage, couple, and family counseling in 2013. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and currently working toward EMDR certification.

Kim was promoted to Clinical Director of MK Place in July 2025, where she oversees clinical operations. Her clinical approach is strongly influenced by narrative therapy, and she’s passionate about working with teenagers, creating a supportive environment where youth can build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and work toward a healthier future.
