Lisa has more than 21 years of experience in billing and office management. She began her career in 2008 as direct care staff at MK Place, moved into the role of Shelter Supervisor and Office Manager in 2010 — taking on MK Place’s billing along the way — and transitioned into a dedicated billing role in 2014. This year marks 18 years with Bannock Youth Foundation, and she considers herself lucky to work alongside such caring people.
What started as a way to earn a little extra money became a job that’s taught Lisa how to recognize when people are struggling and respond with compassion and urgency, both at work and at home. She has deep respect for her coworkers and the dedication it takes to run a program like BYF’s. Outside of work, Lisa loves gardening, watching the sunset, spending time with her sisters over cards and board games, and most of all, time with her children.
