Rachael is a certified Parent Educator through the Parents as Teachers program at Bannock Youth Foundation. She has eight years of experience in early childhood education, including three years as a preschool aide and five years as a lead teacher in a Montessori classroom. Rachael holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and has been trained in child development, ACEs and trauma-informed practices, the Pyramid Model for child behavior, and the Strengthening Families approach.
She chose to work with Parents as Teachers to be part of a mission that grows healthy communities by supporting mothers and families. Outside of work, Rachael is a florist who loves hiking in the surrounding mountains, gardening, kayaking, and cross-stitch.
