Ryon has provided counseling for adolescents and families in Southeast Idaho for over 23 years, working in nearly every program Bannock Youth Foundation has offered, including runaway and homeless youth programs, the Courts, Juvenile Drug Court, and family group programs. He currently provides community counseling and therapeutic services to residents of Bannock House and supervises Masters-level counseling students completing their graduate work.
Ryon’s values align closely with BYF’s commitment to strong nonprofit work and youth advocacy, and he’s drawn to the way the organization supports young people across the full span of their journey into adulthood. Outside of work, Ryon is an avid outdoorsman — biking, skiing, and hiking in the local foothills — and enjoys spending time with his family, especially watching his own child participate in sports.
